ACTion Walk – May 21, 2011
Thank you to all that attended the first annual ACTion Walk on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 at Holford Park, located off of Shiloh Rd. between Richoak Dr. and Homestead Place in Garland.

Inclusive childcare
The Achievement Center of Texas provides quality inclusive day care for children 18 months to 14 years of age in their youth educational programs. Using the High Scope Curriculum and their unique Exploring Special Arts program, the Achievement Center provides inclusive day care to help each student find their particular learning style and discover hidden talents and abilities. The 2011 Special Arts Festival was held February 12, 2011 at the GISD Special Events Center. It was a great time and thank you to all our sponsors.
2011 Gala – Saturday, April 30
The Achievement Center of Texas held their 15th annual Spring Gala on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Brookhaven Country Club recognizing Champions Who Care. The Achievement Center Spring Gala is the major fundraiser to support the center which serves an average of 140 students daily Monday through Friday. Champions Who Care are chosen by a gala advisory board to honor those who have made an impact on the lives of people with disabilities. It included: Town North Optimist Club, Pilot Club of Dallas and a surprise dignitary plus a special presentation to the Benchmark Mortgage Loving Cup fund. Silent and live auction, music, ...
