Sponsored by the Garland Cultural Arts Commission!
The 2017 Special Arts Festival is March 4, 2016 at Springcreek Church on Beltline Rd. and Shiloh. You will be inspired! Besides having many art exhibitors and activity tables, there will be live stage performances including performances by our students. Exploring special arts is important because it allows our students and others with disabilities to do and experience something they might otherwise never have known they could.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to paint without sight? Our special guest is internationally known blind artist, John Bramblitt. His lovely assistant Jacqi Serie will blindfold you, explain the paint color and texture combinations and you too can experience what it’s like to paint without “sight.”
John may also paint during the event. You won’t want to miss out!
The festival is free to attend so come on by!
Time: 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Place: See address below.
